Call for Papers: Inaugural Issue of the Journal of Multicultural Education and Student Affairs (MESA)

The Journal of Multicultural Education and Student Affairs (MESA) is an international, peer-reviewed, and open access journal published by Researcher Publishers. We are pleased to invite submissions of original manuscripts that contribute to advancing scholarship in multicultural education, diversity, equity, inclusion, and student development.

MESA publishes research that addresses contemporary challenges, emerging practices, and future directions in educational environments supporting diverse student populations. The Journal aims to provide a platform for empirical, conceptual, and interdisciplinary work that deepens understanding and informs practice across multicultural and student affairs contexts. Contributions may focus on, but are not limited to:

  • Multicultural curriculum development and culturally responsive pedagogy
  • Student engagement, wellbeing, and identity development
  • Inclusive leadership, advising, and counseling practices
  • Campus climate, equity-centered policy, and institutional transformation
  • Community and institutional partnerships supporting diverse learners
  • Cross-cultural and interdisciplinary perspectives on educational equity

MESA operates under a continuous publishing model, which enables articles to be published online individually upon completion of production. All submissions undergo a rigorous peer-review process to uphold high academic standards.

Manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with the MESA author guidelines and submitted via the online submission system on the MESA website.
